Fantasy Basketball is Here!

Now that we are in to the last couple weeks of the NFL playoffs, most fantasy football leagues are officially over. Whether you played in yearly leagues or played in weekly leagues on Draftstreet, Fanduel, Draftday, or Daily Joust, most leagues are now over. While this is probably terrible news for those of you who love fantasy football, it is good news for anyone that knows the NBA because now it is time for fantasy basketball.

Fantasy Basketball is dare I say, even more addicting than fantasy football because when you play fantasy basketball you have to pick a new team every single day. You don’t get to wait until late Saturday or early Sunday morning to put your lineup in for the week, you have to have a new lineup every single night by the time the games start. For those of you that play daily fantasy sports, this just means you have more opportunities to win big money. If you haven’t tried daily fantasy sports, check out one of these great sites:

Fanduel: Click here to redeem Fanduel Promo Code that will give you 30% bonus on your first deposit.
Draftstreet: Click here to redeem Draftstreet Promo Code that will give you a 40% bonus on your first deposit.
Draftday: Click here to redeem Draftday Promo Code for a 20% bonus.

Now that you are signed up and have your bonus money ready to go, now it’s time to start playing and winning some money! The key to fantasy basketball is to find value for your team. In daily fantasy basketball, you will have a salary cap that you have to spend on your roster. Draftstreet for example gives you $100,000 to spend on your team consisting of 8 players. It’s up to you to figure out how you want to spend your money.

Before you start playing, make sure to read up on the site’s scoring system. Knowing how you score points is critical to your success. Most daily fantasy sites will award 1 point per point scored, 2 points per block, 2 points per steal, 1.5 points per assists, and 1.25 points per rebound. Thinking about players and how they can fill up the stat sheet will help your team. You don’t want to take players that only score the ball because even if they score 20 points, if they don’t get any other statistics, they aren’t worth taking.

The best advice that I can give you is to check injury reports every day. Player’s production is directly correlated to how many minutes they play and you will be able to find plenty of sleepers if you check the injury reports every night. Say a star PG is out with an injury, the backup will automatically get the start and play 30+ minutes that night and will probably cost a lot less than most players. Also on the flip side, you don’t want to get caught with someone injured in your lineup. One injury can ruin your whole team.

So now that football is over and you are looking for some more entertainment, try daily fantasy basketball. It is extremely fun and highly addicting. Don’t forget to use the Fantasy Promo Code.
